Mamelodi Sundowns have returned to training for the first time since the Premier Soccer League was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in South Africa.
“Mamelodi Sundowns have resumed training, this after more than 100 days after the PSL had suspended the 2019/2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the nationwide lockdown,” the club said on their official website.
“The Brazilians arrived at the Royal Marang Sports Complex in Rustenburg to prepare for the resumption of the 2019/20 season. Sundowns had complied with all the stringent COVID-19 Return to Play Protocols and had submitted the same to the PSL before the club was given the green light to commence training.”
Mamelodi Sundowns players including newcomer George Maluleka have reported for camp ahead of the restart of the Premiership. #KaBoYellow #SkyIsTheLimitPosted by Mamelodi Sundowns Supporters on Wednesday, July 8, 2020
