PUMA launch Olympique Marseille 20/21 Home and Away Shirts

Olympique Marseille revealed their new 2020/21 home and away shirts from PUMA.

The white shirt has, in light grey, a structural pattern which PUMA have included to nod to the modern architecture of the city of Marseille.

Otherwise, the shirt is relatively standard in its styling, with embroidered Mediterranean blue PUMA logo and crest – with gold on the latter and both as heat transfers on the “Authentic” player version, which also includes Shincool technology as well as the standard Drycell.

The away shirt features a watermark pattern of a stylisation of housing at nighttime – complete with occasional windows illuminated – intended to evoke the different districts – or “quartiers” – of the city of Marseille.

The message being that whilst all these districts across the city and conurbation have distinct personalities based on the multicultural nature of “Mars”, they share common ground, literally and figuratively, in being “marseillais” – and in their support of l’OM.
