Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Pitso Mosimane has expressed his utter shock and devastation at the death of legendary radio and television broadcaster Bob Mabena.
Chairman of POWER 98.7 and MSG Afrika, Given Mkhari, on Monday confirmed that Mabena has died. Mabena died at the age of 51 after suffering a cardiac arrest.
Mabena worked as the breakfast show host at POWER FM, where he was also the station manager. He also hosted a music show on TV in the 90s called Studio Mix.
The former Bafana Bafana coach expressed his sadness and sent his deepest condolences to Mabena’s family.
“Still in shock and disbelief that my friend, brother and fellow @Masandawana @mabena_bob is no more. Let us keep his family and loved ones in our prayers,” Mosimane wrote on his personal Twitter account.
