Espanyol revealed their new 2020/21 home, away and third shirts from Kelme.
With the 120th anniversary as the central axis of this season, Kelme and RCD Espanyol have designed these models respecting the tradition and history of our club, with memories of our origins, but with a modern and current touch.
The traditional white-and-blue t-shirt of the first kit stands out for wider stripes than in previous models. It is also committed to combining the classic blue pants with other black alternatives, used by the club from 1910 to 1940. In short, the first clothing is a tribute to what footballers wore during this period of our history.
The second kit unites history and one of the most important artistic movements such as Modernism. The navy blue T-shirt features details of the trencadís that Gaudi so popularized. This mosaic is the link between Catalan Modernism and the field of the Sagrada Família, where RCD Espanyol had its first lands.
The third outfit recovers the yellow, with a thin black line, a color common in recent seasons and appealing to the origins of the club. It should be remembered that the first shirt worn by Espanyol in 1900 was this color.
