David Silva has joined Real Sociedad as a free agent on a two-year deal after his Manchester City contract expired.
Silva’s 10-year spell at Manchester City came to an end after Saturday’s 3-1 Champions League defeat by Lyon.
“Real Sociedad and David Silva have reached an agreement that will see the player from the Canary Islands join Real Sociedad for the next two seasons,” read a statement on the Real Sociedad website on Monday night.
“The new realista joins as a free agent from Manchester City and will sign for the club until June 30, 2022. Silva will join the team in the coming days.”
