After signing a three-year deal, Gavin Hunt has revealed the reasons why he elected to join Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs.
Hunt was appointed as the new head coach of Kaizer Chiefs on Thursday.

“Thank you very much. It is all of a sudden thing and it is a privilege and honour to be here. Obviously in football, it is all about timing,” Hunt said.
“Our Club was sold and there was an opportunity. I am excited to get working and see the capacity of the squad.

“I took this job because it was very professionally handled by a very professional club. It’s been a real eye-opener, first time I have been in Naturena in all the years, I have never been here all my life.
“To come here and see the setup it is really up there with the standards of world football. I have been around the world and this is really impressive.”
