AmaZulu FC finished the league season in fourteen place, but there have also been plenty of signs of encouragement for life under coach Ayanda Dlamini.
Zungu said the club’s first target for next season is to finish in the top four; and the bigger picture is to win the DStv Premiership in the next four years.
“If we have not made the top four next season, we would have failed. If we don’t win the league in the next four years, we would have failed,” Zungu said.
“If Bafana Bafana doesn’t at least have four AmaZulu players in the squad in 2030, we would have failed.”
Zungu also said they’ll be supporting coach Ayanda Dlamini 100 percent.
“We will support Ayanda [Dlamini]. He is our number one. I feel that black people need to be supported,” concluded the the new president.
