PSL confirm changes after new COVID-19 regulations

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has announced that due to the COVID-19 curfew, all DStv Premiership games played at night will no longer kick-off at 19h30.

“The President of South Africa, the Honourable Mr. Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa, last night announced an extended curfew as part of the new regulations to address the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic,” read a statement from the PSL.

“The new regulations fix the closing times for venues hosting sporting events as 22h00.

“In compliance with the regulations all night matches of the PSL will start at 19h00 at the very latest and be completed on or before 21h00 in the evening.”
