PSL confirm Swallows FC vs Mamelodi Sundowns fixture postponement

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has confirmed that the DStv Premiership match between Mamelodi Sundowns and Swallows FC has been postponed.

The Brazilians were scheduled to face Swallows FC at Dobsonville Stadium on Wednesday, March 10, but now they’ll take on Polokwane City in a Nedbank Cup fixture at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.

“The #DStvPrem fixture between Swallows FC and Mamelodi Sundowns originally scheduled for 10 March 2021 has been postponed. The new fixture details (date, time and venue) will be advised in due course,” the PSL confirmed in a statement.

Sundowns also confirmed that they’ve received confirmation from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) regarding their CAF Champions League fixture against CR Belouizdad of Algeria. The game will now take place on Sunday, 28 February at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The fixture, which was originally scheduled to take place on Tuesday, February 23 was cancelled by the Algerian Football Association due to COVID-19 restrictions.
