Bafana Bafana midfielder Bongani Zungu and four other Rangers FC players have been banned by the Scottish FA for breaking COVID-19 regulations by attending a party last month.
Zungu, Nathan Patterson, Calvin Bassey, Dapo Mebude and Brian Kinnear who breached COVID-19 rules have been given a six-game (of which two are suspended) ban by the Scottish FA.
Zungu, who missed Bafana Bafana’s 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Ghana and Sudan, will be available on the 12th of May 2021 when Rangers FC face Livingston in the Scottish Premiership.
