In an interview with Mmasekepe Matsebane on Power FM, Shakes said, “For Molefi Ntseki to say he failed, that is a disgrace. It means he does not know what he is doing. I am worried about him. Let him step aside and allow someone else to take over.

“You have sold yourself if you tell us that you have failed. Rather tell us you tried something and it did not work, and you will come up with another plan. What chance does he expect when he has told us he has failed?

“The other thing we need to forget is the mentality that if you do not have overseas-based players, Bafana [Bafana] will not perform. Forget it! Those players are not playing overseas. They are not. They are just bench warmers.

“And they come here and want to dictate, and get positions because they are overseas. I would not even say they are playing overseas. They are just tourists, visiting overseas. They come back here without playing even 10 games.”

  1. It’s true that the Coach failed ,but on on the other hand, i think he is a good Coach having to admit that he has failed .
Am sure he was trying to tell people that he failed to qualify not to Coach the Team .
SouthAfrica, lets learn to give a second chance, footing its not like Eating Papa with Amasi ,remember its a compilation that every country wants to get there.

With this ,SouthAfrican football will never go far .

And my advice should go to SAFA “don’t employ people base on what the say, atleast employ them base on their football history.

    1. Ungabosinyela Wena Mustafa wakhona. What do you know about second chances? Sokhuluma nge qembu lesizwe la Wena ukhuluma ngama second chances. Udakiwe nyoko. Yingakho ibhola lethu lingathuthuki yileziphukuphuku ezifana nani

  2. I do not agree with Shake, I feel he is encouraging the idiology of not taking responsibility if a person, I believe it’s good when a person says I have failed as it’s True reflection of what happened. Bra Shakes failed himself and he never took responsibility it’s amazing how he encourages other not to take responsibility like he did.

  3. What future does he hold for our team(Bafana Bafana)if he failed with only a draw to qualify, let him step aside because he does not utilise what he have at his disposal instead he believe in oversees based players which are bench warmers at their teams

  4. Ungabosinyela Wena Mustafa wakhona. What do you know about second chances? Sokhuluma nge qembu lesizwe la Wena ukhuluma ngama second chances. Udakiwe nyoko. Yingakho ibhola lethu lingathuthuki yileziphukuphuku ezifana nani

  5. Coach he doesn’t want to be blamed he just put it straight is obvious we blame Coach always whenever team doesn’t play well!!it doesn’t matter you says you tried maybe you should have done better if not qualifying your fired finished and klar.
