French side Red Star FC and Kappa have released their home kit for the 2021/22 season.

The new primary design sees “l’Étoile rouge”’ depart adidas for Italian brand Kappa, and the Ajax-esque shirt – with green replacing white and white taking on the role of the Dutch side’s red, with a texture pattern and a fuzzy edge – is most notable for the opportunity for customisation in the crest position.

While Red Star’s club badge is present and correct, it is topped with the loop element of Velcro, with the option to affix hook-backed alternative discs within the identifying ring.

Three separate badges are currently available on an official basis from the club, but the potential is endless considering the many simpatico fan bases across the world, while the shirt designed in collaboration with Daily Paper will be worn with green shorts and white socks.
