GladAfrica Championship side TS Sporting have issued a statement in response to reports that the club has been put up for sale.

“TS Sporting has learned with a sense of great sadness [as] a statement by Soccer Laduma publication that our team is up for sale,” the National First Division club said in a statement.

“We want to assure the public that these are fake news aimed at tarnishing our good name. An email has already been sent to the publication to retract the statement.

“What is so disturbing is that the fake news are only published on the day of our game [against Hungry Lions] and only meant to destabilize our players.”
