Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has revealed that Thapelo Morena is doing very well but not yet ready to return to action.
Morena has been out since February after suffering a serious fracture and ligament damage to his ankle in the Nedbank Cup win over SuperSport United.
“I am impressed with Thapelo, he is coming up well and is running with the boys. He still has stiffness in his ankle – we can see sometimes, after a heavy session, he limps a little bit,” Mosimane told the club’s website.

“It means he is not ready, but he can run normally and control the ball, he is on the last phase of his rehab.”
