Lionel Messi was supposed to wear the new adidas Nemeziz Messi ‘Copa 2020’ boots in the Copa America in June 2020 in Argentina and Colombia, but the tournament was postponed to next year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The design of the new boots are inspired by Messi’s two homes, Rosario and Barcelona. There are three main colours in the brand new design: royal blue, silver metallic and solar yellow. The boots are adorned by the unique images representing Leo Messi, Rosario and Barcelona.
