FC Koln and Uhlsport launch 20/21 Home Shirt

Bundesliga side FC Koln have launched their new home shirt for next season.

The traditional white FC Koln home kit will be complemented with strong, red accents. In the middle of the kit run two vertical lines, as well as along both sides of the shirt below the armpit.

This will then be continued along the sides of the shorts and socks in order to ensure a harmonic and dynamic look. The kits are made from breathable smartbreatheLITE material, which makes it both comfortable for players and fans alike.

The club badge is, as always stitched into the shirt in original colours and this will also be the case for the upcoming away and third kits. This mark of quality that separates FC kits from other top clubs around the world.

“Our fans wish for white home kits, as is the case with our club’s tradition. At the same time, the design should not be traditional in that sense every season so as the kits are different each year and there is always something special to them. With the red bands along the front, we are adding a special touch which has never appeared in this form on FC kits,” said FC managing director, Alexander Wehrle.

The FC goalkeeper kit this year will be an olive green shade. All kits have been produced after close co-operation between the FC merchandising team at Geißbockeim with Uhlsport, along with the approval of the kit commission.

After FC previously displayed the kits with a campaign in the city, this time it is about the team: the dressing room. The pictures show the youngsters Sebastiaan Bornauw, Noah Katterbach, Kingsley Ehizibue and Ismail Jakobs just before they head towards the pitch.

“The FC kits are made from our most modern material, so that the players are comfortable on the pitch and can put in their best performance,” said Uhlsport managing director, Melanie Steinhilber.

“We worked together closely with FC and are certain, that this will be to the FC fans’ taste. We are, of course, very proud of our third home kit since the beginning of our co-operation with FC.”
