Orlando Pirates captain and defender Happy Jele has extended his contract with the club until July 2021.
“Orlando Pirates Football Club can confirm that Happy Jele has signed on the dotted line to extend his stay onboard the Buccaneers ship,” read a statement on the club’s website.
“The captain has been rewarded with a contract extension for another season.
“Jele, who will celebrate his 14th season as a Buccaneer when the 2020/21 season kicks off next month, continues to impress in the Black and White jersey.
“This past season saw Magents record the second-most minutes played behind goalkeeper Wayne Sandilands which is all testament to his professionalism.”
