Mabhuti Khenyeza, who was head coach in 2019/20, has been demoted to head coach of the MultChoice Diski Challenge (MDC) side at TS Galaxy.

A disappointing GladAfrica Championship campaign saw the club finish in 10th place under Khenyeza. TS Galaxy were also eliminated early in the Nedbank Cup, losing 3-0 to Chippa United in the first round.

“Another technical change will then see Mabhuti Khenyeza shifting focus to the development structures of the club as head coach of the MultChoice Diski Challenge (MDC) side,” read a statement on the club’s website.
The former Bafana Bafana striker was named new head coach by TS Galaxy in February 2020 after the club axed Dan Malesela.
