Everton have completed the signing of central defender Ben Godfrey from Norwich City for around £20-million on a five-year contract.

“Ben Godfrey has signed for Everton from Norwich City for an undisclosed fee, penning a five-year deal until the end of June 2025,” read a statement on the club’s website.

“The 22-year-old, broadly regarded as one of England’s brightest prospects, captained England Under-21s on his full debut in September 2019 and was an integral part of Norwich’s Championship title-winning campaign in 2018/19.”
