16-year-old central defender Willy Kambwala has signed for Manchester United from French club Sochaux for a fee that could rise to €4-million.
“Manchester United is pleased to confirm the signing of Willy Kambwala from Sochaux,” read a statement on the club’s website.
“The 16-year-old defender has represented the Ligue 2 club up to Under-19s level and has captained France’s Under-17s.
“Kambwala will join Neil Ryan’s Under-18s squad once his mandatory period of self-isolation is complete.”
