Augustine Mulenga has taken to social media to post a farewell message to Orlando Pirates and supporters.
The Zambian striker was one of the players released by the club on Tuesday.
“Thank you so much Orlando Pirates for giving me the opportunity to live the dream of wearing this shirt, to play in Orlando Stadium, to learn and enjoy one of the best leagues in Africa,” wrote Mulenga on his personal Instagram account.
“Thank you for making me grow as a player and as a person. It was a good two and a half wonderful years that I’ll never forget.
“Thanks to my colleagues, staff, fans and all the people who helped me reach this day and I’m so sad to leave but I have to face my new endeavours.
“You have been so good to me and I would like you to know that I am grateful for everything.
“I will miss you and I will take all your professional advices with me. Thank you my Buccaneer family, you all will always be at heart.”
