South African Football Association (SAFA) CEO, Advocate Tebogo Motlanthe, has wished Al Ahly head coach Pitso Mosimane all the best in the CAF Champions League final on Friday, 27 November.
Al Ahly are set to play against arch-rivals Zamalek in an all-Egyptian CAF Champions League final on Friday at Cairo International Stadium.
‘’In normal circumstances, one is supposed to be neutral and enjoy the best club football on the continent but the truth is I am rooting for Pitso (Mosimane) and Al Ahly to win this one,” Motlanthe said on SAFA’s official website.
“He is one of us and definitely am biased on where I want the CAF Champions League title to land – I would want to see Pitso and Al Ahly crowned African champions.
‘’To Pitso, I would like to say good luck and if you win the title on Friday, you would not only have made yourself and your family proud but the rest of South Africa.
‘’You are a true ambassador of the country and we are proud of you. Go and make us proud because we all love and admire your honesty and professionalism. You are a true champion.’’
