AmaZulu FC have completed the loan signing of Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Phakamani Mahlambi and also the signing of Chippa United goalkeeper Veli Mothwa.
“AmaZulu Football Club have rocked the DStv Premiership by announcing the signings of Phakamani Mahlambi and Veli Mothwa,” AmaZulu said in a statement.
“Usuthu, once again made their intent clear when they announced the duo at a press briefing held at Zungu On Main on Tuesday afternoon.
“Mahlambi joins the Usuthu ranks on a season-long loan spell from Mamelodi Sundowns, while Mothwa joins Usuthu on a two-year deal from Chippa United (with the option to renew for another two years).
“The duo will look to immediately make an impact and provide depth in head coach Ayanda Dlamini’s charges.
“Mothwa arrival also ensures Usuthu have enough cover in the goalkeeping roaster following the injury of first choice goalie and captain Siyabonga Mbatha who was substituted in the past weekend’s clash against Captain City.”
