The draw for the CAF Confederation Cup took place at the Confederation of African Football (CAF) headquarters in Cairo, Egypt on Friday, 8 January 2021.

Pirates, who were given a free pass into the playoffs, were drawn to face the Botswana Premier League champions who had dropped out of the CAF Champions League.
