AS Roma 1-0 Feyenoord: Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma ended their long wait for European silverware when they beat Feyenoord in the inaugural UEFA Europa Conference League final at Tirana’s National Arena in Albania on Wednesday night.
After winning the UEFA Europa Conference League, Jose Mourinho said: “We have written history. This is a competition we believed we could win since the start.”
“Winning is very difficult. You need many ingredients. Our team has played 55 games. We reached the final being tired, but we kept it hidden. This is a fantastic group of players; that makes me emotional,” added Mourinho.
